Little Bitty Mouse
This is a 'Demonstrate, now Imitate' song. You will learn it quickly by FIRST watching the video and hearing the notes and rhythm . . . SECOND, looking at the music notation while it is being repeated.
The Thumb (no. 1 in piano fingering language) will play the white keys. No. 2 finger, (the index) will play the black keys. The thumb (no. 1) will slip under the longer second finger (no. 2) to play the white keys.
This symbol, the sharp sign, # place BEFORE a note, tells us to play the black key to the right of the indicated note. Look and discern the logic of music notation.
Watch and listen to the video. Remember, music looks like it sounds, it is a much easier, more visual language than letters, consonants and vowels.
